Security Resume format

The primary job of security personnel is to ensure the safety of the public and their properties. Most security postings may also mean working during odd times of the day. Your resume should be able to highlight your trustworthiness and knowledge of emergency procedures, laws and security regulations.

When you write your objectives for a security guard career, always express your deep motivation and interest in serving in this job.

Your list or summary of qualifications should highlight your main qualifications in an impressive way because this part of your resume will surely attract the attention of potential employers.

In your job experiences, write your important accomplishments as a security officer for your prior employers. Any awards or recognition you may have received would also help. Try to avoid putting in work gaps in your work history.

On your education and training, put in all the security related trainings and relevant seminars you have participated in. You should also indicate important licenses you have acquired, like a license to use firearms.
